Effective September 2016, Atlantic PIRI recognizes the new field methanol preservation protocols (as outlined in the regional implementation procedure) as the industry standard. This document outlines Atlantic PIRI’s response to these changes in soil sample collection and preservation methods for volatile petroleum hydrocarbons and Volatile Organic Compounds.
